Staff and students at two schools on the NSW north coast will benefit from a range of new facilities thanks to funding under the Federal Government’s Capital Grants Program.
Senator for New South Wales Perin Davey said the Government will provide $550,000 for the Pacific Brook Christian School and a further $300,000 for The Small School in Murwillumbah.
“This funding will deliver a range of improvements, including a building upgrade, three general learning areas, administration offices and extra amenities for The Small School,” Senator Davey said.
“The Pacific Brook Christian School will also benefit from the expansion of their facilities to include a theatre circulation space, extra change rooms, storage, art and music learning areas and a new access verandah.
“These upgrades will boost the educational opportunities and experiences for students at both schools and will provide a range of benefits across their respective communities.”
The Government’s Capital Grants Program has helped thousands of schools across the nation to build new and updated infrastructure as part of a record $315.2 billion allocated to Australian schools between 2018 and 2029.
