Staff and students at Pacific Brook Christian School in Muswellbrook will benefit from new modular classrooms and a covered outdoor learning area, funded as part of the Morrison Government’s Capital Grants Program.
Federal Senator for New South Wales Perin Davey said the Australian Government would provide $900,000 towards the project at Pacific Brook Christian School.
“This funding will go towards the construction of five new modular general learning areas as well as amenities and a covered outdoor learning area,” Senator Davey said.
“Pacific Brook Christian School has a wonderful school community, and these new facilities will further enhance the learning environment.
“Students and teachers thrive when their schools have modern and up-to-date facilities. That’s why the Coalition Government is proud of the Capital Grants Program, which has helped thousands of schools across the nation, and particularly in the regions, to build new and updated infrastructure.
“Our Government is ensuring that every child gets a high-quality education no matter where they go to school. We are providing a record $315.2 billion for all Australian schools between 2018 and 2029.
“I congratulate Pacific Brook Christian School on their successful grant application and look forward to seeing the positive impact these new facilities will have on the school community.”
